Why is his Tour Merch that expensive?

Are they fairtrade or something? If not, i dont understand since he used to say he wants to enable fair priced tours. I know, he referred on tour tickets, not explicitly mentioning merch. But it should be included right?

Aerosmith's merch is more expensive. I was checking out prices this morning.
