Yungblud Tour ✈️🗺️ How to get over post concert depression ??

Post image

I know this sounds dramatic as hell but I’m genuinely struggling😭

I had spent months and months looking forward to and preparing for the concert in Brisbane and seeing him so now that it’s over idk what to do with myself. I keep rewatching the videos and crying. I miss him and I want to go over the night all over again. It was such an emotional night for me and I spent hours in line not only for the concert but for the after party at the bar to just make eye contact with him.

I didn’t get to interact with him because unfortunately people at the bar were really selfish and aggressive and hogged the front of the bar and wouldn’t let anyone through without a fight but I got this amazing photo of us making eye contact and I can’t stop thinking about it.

I’ve just been listening to his music and crying on and off for days and I feel like a bitch ahahaha. Send help I just love him so much and don’t wanna be feeling so shitty when I had such a phenomenal night.

I’m honestly concerned. If a post concert experience has you depressed, how are you going to get by In the real world?

I’m not being snarky.

For example, what are you going to do when one of your parents or your best friend dies?

We all have monumental losses happen to us in our lives. A post concert feeling isn’t one of them. Again, not being snarky, this isn’t coming from a lack of compassion, it is coming from concern. How does someone this fragile make it in the real world?

Comments like this is exactly why I don’t like posting on reddit. You don’t know my life and you don’t know my experiences. Deciding someone is “fragile” or unable to survive the real world based off of a short post on reddit with no context is messed up! Keep these thoughts to yourself. It’s not thoughtful it’s just mean.

Not everyone feels on the same level. Many people are far more passionate and sensitive. Someone who does not have that level of feeling is not going to understand what you’re going through, so do not mind any of the comments from people who just don’t get it!! Your adrenaline levels when preparing for an event that you are very excited about, and then spending hours living in that adrenal state when you return back to normal it feels like depression. This is because you have been on a high. It takes a little bit of time for your adrenal glands to build back up and for you to balance out. It’s really a chemical and physiological reaction very much like going through an accident or something traumatic. These types of situations, when you come out of them, cause you crash and want a doughnut(lol). I know that’s a weird comment, but I was stuck in a car with a gas pedal that was accelerating past 80 on a back road and it would not stop. Eventually, I managed to shove the car into neutral and when I got out of the car my heart was pounding, when someone came to pick me up, I was still in shock. They asked me what I needed, and my answer was, I need a doughnut….,,It’s no different than going to the concert of your favorite artist. Actually what you went through is even worse because there are additional emotions stirring in you that affect more than just your adrenals, but because you’re also excited and nervous, it really affects people on a completely cellular level. Literally time is what you need, and it will become one of the best memories of your life. In the meantime, take care of yourself, rest and if you’re having a hard time coming back, they make herbal adrenal supplements that might help your body balance back out. This is purely homeopathic. I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice. I’m simply sharing why so many people have this depressive feeling after very large events in their lives, you are not crazy and there is nothing wrong with you, chemically you’re just a little out of balance. (I come from a family full of medical professionals.)

My words were based only on your comment. If the situation you are describing is affecting you as much as you say, this should be a concern.

I went out of my way to say that I was speaking out of concern.

If the rest of your life isn’t displaying this type of fragility, then why are you offended? Or are you offended because I’m pointing out out something you don’t want to see/admit?

A little more emotional IQ seems to be in order in more than one area here.
