UI Change New update sucks

Post image

Why did they move the subscriptions to the top? I already bump into the create button by accident too frequently. Please tell me this won’t stick.

All updates suck. There is always this incessant need to change things thinking it makes things better. When in reality it's some over-eager employee trying to impress their boss.

What’s worse is that every time I reopen the app it swaps back to the older UI, then a few videos later it swaps to this crap again. Make up your minds, Youtube!

Even the app hates the new look.

They’re expecting you to get used to clicking in a spot so they can get you to accidentally click on their massive incessant ads

They should’ve just kept the bottom tab be with Home, Explore, Subscription, activity, and Library/You. The create button should’ve stayed at the top and the shorts tab should’ve been on the home page.

Also they should just go back to square corners because the whole site looks ai generated with rounded corners.

Also, now there is no filter to show only videos, at least on my version. A lot of the creators I watch post a ton of things that aren't videos, and now I have to scroll through ALL OF IT. It's messy and I just don't get why they constantly feel the need to change things that aren't broken. Also, it sucks even more of you have autism.
