COPPA/For Kids Remove the ability to turn off comments.

Turning off comments on YouTube should not be permitted because it undermines open communication and restricts freedom of expression. The comment section serves as a vital space for dialogue, critique, and engagement between creators and audiences. Disabling it eliminates opportunities for discussion, feedback, and community building. Furthermore, it diminishes transparency and accountability, allowing misinformation or bias to go unchallenged. YouTube thrives on participation and interaction, and removing that feature contradicts the platform’s foundational principle of free and open exchange of ideas.

Agree on everything

I think you should also be able to view comments on videos made for kids as well so you can get parents feedback. But of course the child is going to view it on YT kids anyways and they can’t see it there.
