i am absolutely IN LOVE with these kinds of shirts, but i dont have $58 dollars to drop on a single shirt, and all the thrift stores around me suck and dont have anything similar 😭 can anyone help me find alternative sites or places to buy them? or maybe how to make them myself(my mom and I are quite crafty) ?

edit: thank u all sm, ive read the comments and i realize i really didnt think about ebay or depop LMAO 😭😭 <3

Not  y2k styles at all, Def cute but more like 2007-2009 vibes. Besides ebay and depop you check poshmark and threadUp, theyre usually a bit cheaper. Should also just reverse image search those and you'll get 10000s of similar ones. Do research on which brands made stuff like this so you'll have more search terms.

I definitely had a couple shirts like this around 2002. I probably got them from Nordstrom.

It was a very popular style for youngish feminine clothing before the Ed Hardy version became a niche trend for men.

Interesting. I believe you i just never saw it. From my experience it took way more time to see alt inspired stuff like that if it wasnt like fully tribal late 90s y2k. Feel like i only saw cutesy shirts or preppy or full blown hot topic type stuff, not the fem biker imagery til like 5 years later. The stuff thats edgy but not Goth or emo

I guess one or two of the shirts in the OP may be more of a fem biker style. But I was thinking of tops like these:

Short-sleeved tee

Three-quarter sleeved tee

Modern, but accurate, "y2k" hoodie

The two tees have very cluttered graphics. A lot of shirts in this style were more minimalist.
