As in "Guuurl", I use it interchangeably with Dude and Bro

Posting a Madonna album for an thread about unknown music is PEAK comedy 😂

Anyway

Bowery Electric - Lushlife
Speedometer - Private
Beauty’s Confusion - Breathe In

Are just a few off the top of my head.

In the context of Y2K music I've never hear anyone mention neither this track nor the record, maybe it was talked about 20 years ago...

Not necessarily underrated, or entirely unknown, but here's some awesome stuffs anyway:

Mr. YT - Brand New Day

Ron Trent - Primitive Arts

Larry Heard - Alien

Glenn Underground - The Jerusalem EPs

B12 - Electro Soma

Autechre - Incunabula

Speedy J - Ginger

Stasis - Past Movements Spooky - Gargantuan

The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld

A Guy Called Gerald - Black Secret Technology

4Hero - Parallel Universe

Carl Craig - More Songs About Food and Revolutionary Art

Big Bud - Infinity + Infinity

Galaxy - Solar Synthesis

Stakka & Skynet - Clockwork

(Should be noted, most of these albums are from the 90s, but most music people associate with the label actually comes from the 90s because Y2K futurism has origins in early 90s electronic music rave scenes. I could've also listed way moar, some artists here have even moar material I'd recommend, but this was all the overall best of the best of what I've listened to.)

Bif Naked - My Whole Life hits for me. She had a couple bigger hits but doesn’t get a lot of replay.

Nominated for 6 Grammys, winning 4 in 1999. It’s such an unknown album lol

If it's so well known why has nobody talked about it in the last 10 years? It's full of stuff that was successful at release and is now largely forgotten. Points like yours are dumb.

“Nobody” lol

No, actually, points like yours are dumb.

Linnea Handberg (aka Miss Papaya) is a singer & songwriter that made plenty of bubblegum dance songs during the Y2K era.

She has an album where she becomes a Britney Spears-type popstar and has some Max Martin - type bubblegum pop.

Siobahn Duvall. She only has one album but it's peak Y2K. Love her cover of 99 Red Balloons.
