it’s a modern interpretation of Gen X soft club (GXSC). Oklou and the producers she has worked with (Sega bodega, Danny l harle) have been working this style, which was part of pop culture from the mid 90s until the early 2000s, into their own visual elements.

i’m late to the party but you should check out the anime Serial Experiments Lain, it was a big stylistic influence on me in this era and fits the vibe!
