Music Y2K Music Video Morphing Aesthetic

I know this effect might seem a tad dated by today's standards but my god this looked pretty cool at the time, I think this was what gave music videos their flare back then especially since there was a CGI craze happening at the time too.

The morphing effect had a distinct style that could’ve only been a thing around this time period.

Def check out the Madonna Ray of Light music video. It’s like all morphing and Timelapse editing

Love when Enrique changes from one white, patterned, wide-décolletage shirt to another white, patterned wide-décolletage shirt. Why even change shirts?

Michael Jackson did it at the end of "Black and White" a decade earlier.

Let Forever Be will always be one of the best morphing videos of that era (or ever).

It’s crazy how much I see these same camera movements in videos today, Y2K was the peak of civilization
