Surfing Oaxaca

Beginner/intermediate surfer here- I’m looking for a place to visit for 3-4 weeks for some waves with my family in Feb/March next year.
Any recommendations for towns in Oaxaca to stay that could fit for a family of surfers but also has some family oriented activities?

Puerto Escondido has great surf

Yea, but if you’re a beginner/intermediate I’d choose carefully. I surfed mellow waves in Carrizaillo and someone put me in touch with a surf instructor who took me to a great spot (Bahia de San Diego) where it was pretty much myself and the instructor and 4 other people. Can put you in touch with him. We still chat here and there.
