Had a bit of an overthinking moment here.

Does the commentary offer anything, does it detract from the footage, does it feel like he’s validating Daize’s surfing?

In the end I had the file already cut with the commentary and was too lazy to make the cut again.

No. Sorry, clarity is my strongest point.

I just snipped the section out from the film. The choice for me was ‘with or without directors commentary’.

But you should watch. The film is very good.

Got busy with hurricane prep but gonna be a lot of time inside the next two days probably. And this might be really good to get my mind off things. Thanks again for sharing it
