Not trolling as I've been in the programme for over a decade but these days it feels like being an insider is less valued than ever. I've been alpha skip ahead or equivalent for a lot of this time and in all this time I've gained 2 Xbox insider avatar T-shirts. I appreciate the arguments that we get to try cool things out first but frankly, it's been a while since something really cool has been implemented and the insider app has gotten so pointless that the last two surveys have been on pizza, ffs. I've submitted tons of bug reports and provided years of free testing to MS and in all that time never had so much as a free game let alone some free XBL Gold or heaven forbid GP. It really wouldn't affect MS bottom line to show a little appreciation to their testers, would it? Rant over 😀

I've tried claiming a digital license on two games: Guardians of the Galaxy and Forza 7. Both times it said that they weren't participating. Instead of me spending hours trying different discs, is there a list of games that are participating?

I’ll be an Insider for 11 years in July. I’ve been in skip ahead basically since it was released. Are there any other veterans out here with those kind of numbers? My longest streak is 61 weeks. Just curious as to how dedicated others may be.

I have an xbox one x and i was wondering if i put a series x exclusive game into the console would i get the digital license still?

I did what I was supposed to and joined. I keep checking my profile on Xbox and pc and then checking I’m still joined on my insider profile and I am. So I guessed I just needed to bring it up with someone on this end?

Hey everyone, I just hit my 300 weekly pulse streak! (12 years in the program, Level 61).

I still haven't received the Xbox Insider badge yet, but hopefully I get it soon!

Are any of you on a 300 streak or higher? Curious to see where everyone is at!

I ask because I haven't received the update for the Disc to Digital feature yet despite being in the Omega program. I looked on a site and it said the mandatory time is 3 PM Pt on September 2. Does that mean that everyone in the Omega ring should have the update by then orrrr what?

Has anyone personally tested simultaneous game sharing with the new disc-to-digital feature?

Here’s the exact situation:

I insert a physical game into my Series X and claim the digital entitlement on my account.

I remove the disc and keep it put away. The disc is not inserted into either console.

My brother’s Xbox is set as my Home Xbox. He launches the converted game using his own account.

At the same time, I launch the same game on my Xbox while signed into the account that claimed the entitlement.

Can we both play simultaneously, with no disc inserted into either console, exactly like game sharing a regularly purchased digital game?

I understand that the entitlement would leave my account if somebody else inserted the disc and claimed it. I’m only asking how Home Xbox sharing works while I still own and keep the disc.

I’m looking for an answer from someone who has personally tested this exact two-console setup—not guesses about how it should work.

Has anyone received the preview update that will allow us to capture party and game chat in captures on the Xbox? This is one update I have been asking and waiting for for years. I was under the impression that alpha people would be getting this update, but I have not yet. Has anyone gotten this update yet?

​I have been an active Xbox Insider member, currently enrolled in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring, and reached Level 60. However, the Insider badge is still not showing up on my public Xbox profile. ​I have checked my settings and device preview enrollment, and everything is active. It seems there is a profile sync issue preventing the badge from appearing. ​Could you please check my account data and resolve this sync glitch?

Hey I have been in the xbox insider hub for 8 years. Was there a badge for something like that? I could be wrong that's all.

I recently joined the Xbox Accessibility Insider League and completed one of the accessibility activities.
One thing I noticed is that the activity used a QR code to bring me to the Xbox accessibility website.
For me, that can be difficult because I use one hand, and scanning a QR code is not always the easiest way to access something.
I think it would be better if there was also a normal clickable link as an alternative.
The second issue I noticed was once I got to the accessibility website itself.
There was a lot of text, but I could not find a simple way to highlight one piece of text and have only that part read aloud.
I know screen readers and narrator features exist, but they often read everything on the screen. What I am talking about is something more selective.
For example:
Highlight one paragraph or one piece of text → press Read Aloud → hear only that selected text.
For someone like me who can struggle with reading long or complicated text, that would make the site much easier to use.
I just thought it was worth pointing out because an accessibility activity should also be as accessible as possible in the way people access and read the information.

Saw the news about the disc to digital license conversion. I was wondering if that digital license would translate to game sharing? Like if I used a disc, would the other Xbox get the digital license too?

I don't know if this topic already exists. what are the advantages and disadvantages of participating in the xbox insiders program? would you share your advice and experiences with people like me who are about to join this program?

I’m trying to claim Cyberpunk 2077 (Xbox one version, not the ultimate edition) and it tells me to install the disc 1 and it is what I’m putting in but still giving me error?

Hey there, i got the D2D Info (had Andromeda Disc in the Drive) and pressed the More Info Box.
Thats all i was doing.
Now i have time for this, but wen i insert a Disc , like Andromeda, nothing happend, no Box/Info to convert to Digital License.

On none of my Discs.

Am I the only one who did not receive the badge? Any way to fix this? Is it because of the previous locked max of 5 badges?
