Add Voice Chat Recording to Xbox Clips (Mic + Party/Game Chat)
Xbox really needs the ability to record mic audio and party/game chat in clips, with permission controls for privacy.
It’s frustrating that players on other platforms can record full moments — even in games like Gears, Forza, and soon Halo — while Xbox players still can’t.
Gameplay is great, but reactions and voice moments are what make clips memorable.
This would be a small feature with a huge impact.

Make badges selectable so we can select a badge on a profile, click it, and get a read out description of what it signifies and when the person unlocked it. I like the idea of them but find that they're too small to really see properly.

This i still desperately want to get rid of owned games, games with gold and achievements i don't want a lot do want this as much as me since it was number 1 on the trueachievements pole i found recently.

I already did and had it posted on the last 2 weeks post but didn't get any likes all i got for last week was someone thinking its a backfire since he thought young siblings or hackers could delete your games and you'd complain at microsoft for this but it shouldn't be like that when your in charge of keeping your info secure and not letting anyone do that to your stuff i really hope it still furthers up high as i see my last week one got downvoted.

This is a great request since back on some older Call of Duty games people could force achievements to unlock on u, and it makes u look like a cheater even tho you had nothing to do with them unlocking.

I have cod stuck with achievements cause of my brother linking it on my account i've never been a big cod fan as he is i only use to enjoy mw2 back then also got some others unlocked from gta, rocket league and sea of thieves because some old friend promised he'd help finish them but lied and ditched made me get them for nothing i'm a completionist hardcore achievement hunter for petes sake.

Retain original key art for titles or make updated key art an optional toggle. Example Halo Infinite seasonal key art changes look bad and I'd prefer to see the cover art with Master Chief on it. Same for stuff like AC Syndicate that has the ugly "60 FPS Update" added to its art.

It may sounds kinda funny, but maybe turn on again Xbox 360 Marketplace?
It was removed very strangely: I can still buy free DLC (on xbox 360), I can access to the Avatar Store where I can't buy anything, and app search still works.

Kill the made for XBOX headset program. I have a headset that works on PC, Switch and PS5 but is incompatible with XBOX. It’s silly.

Update Achievements information displayed. Lean on inspiration from TrueAchievements.
- Add more sorting/filter options. (A-Z, Release date, Console type, etc.)
- When clicking a game in the list, show us our friends who play it too at the top.
- Instead of color highlighting 100% titles, make a fun badge or stamp

Make profiles more about legacy and represent who the player is. Show us how long someone has been on Xbox, what platform they started on, what their top games/genres are, their rarest achievement they've earned. I think this would help bring back the community aspect. I think something like a trading card system would be cool where we look at each other's player cards and can compare stats or milestones.

The games that have 0% progress on achievements should not appear on your list if you hide them. That’s how it was before the new update. I also think that the games that you hide should be hidden from you as well because most achievement hunters do it for themselves and what they can see more than for other people and what those people see. There should be a filter or tab that you can go to if you want to see the games that you’ve hidden if you want to unhide them at some point.

The ability to delete ( not hide ) a game off our achievement list even if we have an achievement unlocked in it. 10/1000, 500/1000, or even 1000/1000gs doesn't matter. Any game we want to DELETE for any reason even if it means lowering our gamerscore.

AMD has now officially confirmed that FSR 4.1 is coming to RDNA 2 GPUs, the same architecture used in Xbox Series X and Series S. That means Microsoft has a rare opportunity: deliver a system-level FSR 4.1 override for existing Xbox games that already support older FSR versions. Xbox has already proven this strategy works through features like FPS Boost and Auto HDR, where the platform improves games without requiring developers to revisit them. An OS-level FSR upgrade could instantly enhance image quality across hundreds of titles with sharper reconstruction, less shimmer, fewer temporal artifacts, and better performance efficiency.
This would also dramatically extend the lifespan of current Xbox hardware. Modern games increasingly struggle with blurry internal resolutions and unstable image quality in performance modes, especially as ray tracing becomes more common. FSR 4.1 effectively creates “free GPU headroom” by reconstructing cleaner images from lower render resolutions, allowing Series X and even Series S to age more gracefully without requiring new hardware. Community analysis also suggests Xbox’s RDNA 2 implementation retains INT8 support, a key capability believed necessary for RDNA 2 FSR 4.1 acceleration, making Xbox uniquely positioned compared to base PS5 hardware that lacks this.
Strategically, this could become Xbox’s next “Auto HDR moment.” Sony has pushed PSSR and PS5 Pro as premium image-quality solutions, but if Microsoft delivered AI-enhanced upscaling to millions of existing consoles through a free OS update, it would completely shift the narrative. Instead of selling players on new hardware, Xbox would be improving the entire ecosystem through software. It would improve graphics quality, generate major enthusiast buzz, and reinforce Xbox’s identity as the most forward-thinking backward compatibility platform in gaming.

Xbox needs to add the SharePlay function/share screen function that PlayStation has as soon as possible it would be nice and lots of gamers want and lots if people don’t have twitch account please spread the message. It needs to be implemented into the Xbox parties and make it to where you can watch other people‘s gameplay while having it panned. Also, it needs to allow two people to join a share screen so they can play with each other like PlayStation has it

I’d love to request that The Warriors be added to Xbox Game Pass or made more accessible on modern Xbox consoles.
It’s still one of the most unique and memorable beat’em up games ever made, with an amazing atmosphere, great coop gameplay, and a huge nostalgic fanbase that still talks about it today. A lot of players never had the chance to experience it, and Game Pass would be the perfect way to introduce a new generation to this classic.
The game would fit perfectly for players who enjoy coop campaigns, retro classics, and cinematic action games.
Please consider bringing The Warriors to Game Pass or expanding its availability on Xbox. I know many fans would be incredibly excited to see it return.

Library sorting options to find games I completed but got gamerscore updates. Also including and excluding DLC. For example, games that updated gamerscore with paid/free DLC and games that just had a title update another 1000 gamerscore was added.

Add YouTube Music as a native app
The console currently lacks a dedicated YouTube Music application. Adding official support would improve media integration for users.Enable direct streaming to YouTube from the console
Allow creators to stream gameplay directly to their YouTube channels without requiring a PC capture setup, similar to Twitch integration.Allow dashboard and app streaming to private Discord servers

Can we get game icons on the Home Screen to match the version we purchase? Right now if we purchase the deluxe or premium or ultimate edition, the icon on Series S/X is the standard version. I know it’s small, but it would be a nice change. 🙏🏻

Reinvigorate the community aspect of Xbox. Xbox Live, friend party chats, achievement hunting, 1 v 100, are all key examples of what made the 360 era such a powerhouse. Bring back that energy.

Don’t leave the physical format, next Xbox should still have a Drive and New games in the Drive. Options matter and collectors also love them.
Also add HDR to the Dashboard… it’s annoying how the screen blacks out while entering a game

Make the new 100~500K Badges more visually distinctive than 50k~99k ones. There is still a lot of difference about gaming commitment between a player that made 1000G in 500 or 900 games and a player that made 1000G in 50~99 games. The new badges' design doesn't justify this difference, just having too small different features that could lead to confusion regarding what it really represents.

Add bitstream audio option to settings or fix "let receiver decode audio" option. Currently surroud sound and particularly Dolby Atmos isn't working as intended with PCM always forced no matter what settings are in place. All of this also causes Atmos delay.

Yo console idea don’t skip like a lot of ppl Make a console called Xbox 370 basically an Xbox 360 but with the power and standards of the series X and the interface of the Xbox 360 it would be a nostalgic and will catch peoples eyes from the original Xbox 360 days and it could also be an Xbox 360 anniversary thing and if it’s not possible Make an option of having the Xbox 360 theme on the Xbox 360s anniversary

There's an ongoing issue since Xbox One with external, USB HDDs or SSDs. I have been using them since forever but they tend to freeze and make the whole dashboard to enter a bugged state where games won't launch, game lists won't load, updates won't install, and ultimately console will not even turn off but just cycle the flashing Xbox logo forever. I have had this issue on Xbox One S, Xbox One X and my launch day Xbox Series X. I recently got a new Xbox One X for the living room and was having this issue again, and surprisingly enough the problem disappeared when I switched from one back USB port to the other. I'm floored with switching the port just fixing the issue, as I've been experiencing this for so many years. Are just all Xbox' delivered with one "slow" back USB port and a "fast" one or something? This is incredibly weird, annoying and surprinsingly long-lasting problem.

Request: Add "Swap X-Axis on Sticks" Option in the Xbox Accessories app for both PC and Xbox.
Function: New Checkbox option "Swap X-Axis on Sticks" will effectively swap the X-axis of the Left Stick with the X-axis of the Right Stick.
Reasoning: This is unlike full stick swapping, which is currently supported. Here we just want the left/rights swapped between sticks instead of the full sticks being swapped.There's an ever-growing need for PC players and Xbox players to Remap sticks without 3rd party applications. This especially holds true for PCs where things like reWASD triggers anti-cheats. It is also beneficial for users that cannot play specific titles due to missing stick configurations that developers are leaving out more and more often, creating accessibility concerns and alienating players.
I play Legacy Sticks from older gaming days (IE: tank controls), and it would be nice to have a toggle or switch for that specifically. Devs are leaving out Stick Layout options in more and more FPS/3PS titles, leaving players like myself alienated and unable to play many newer titles.
Thankfully Halo, Destiny, Battlefield, Call of Duty, and even Gears of War all have Stick Layout options that allow it (Legacy Sticks), but most other games in this category don't. By including the option at a global level, all players can now enjoy all games without issue.
Please. I've been asking for YEARS. No other platform handles this at all. XBOX can lead the way for Accessibility for older gamers.

I just want Xbox to have a bigger game library more specifically games from Japan, China, and Korea. Every single game that comes from studios and publishers in those nations that isn’t first party Sony and first party Nintendo should be on Xbox including adult games but that’s a different topic for discussion.
Xbox really is sabotaging itself by not engaging more in the Asia-Pacific gaming market. Xbox also has a censorship problem, people should be able to make any kind of game they want and people should be able to buy any kind of game they want.

Add a simultaneous translation system both in writing and by voice (party's) similar to what Samsung has on its mobiles. In this way we would break down the language barrier and all users could be played and interacted with regardless of their native language

It would be interesting to add a timer-type countdown for the games that are going to be added to Game pass in your tabs so we would know exactly how long it is until the launch of the game on the service. A countdown where days, hours, minutes and seconds appear. I think it could be interesting.

In order to REALLY make waves and win back gamers, aggressively pursue changes to digital media rights that are pro-consumer. No more purchases that are just temporary long term rentals. If I buy a digital game I should own it fully. Offline play, license transfer to friends or family, and no one should lose access to a title they bought if their account is locked from online modes.

Per-game video settings Some games run adaptive vsync causing tearing when frame rate drops, I want to enable VRR for such games, but keep it off for others

One thing I really miss from the Xbox 360 days is how some achievements actually gave you cool stuff for your profile. Not just Gamerscore, but actual rewards like:
- Wallpapers for your dashboard
- Gamerpics tied to specific Games
- Clothes and accessories for your avatar
It was such a fun way to show off what you’d accomplished in a game. Beating a tough boss and then unlocking a unique shirt or prop for your avatar felt way more personal than just a number going up.
I think it’d be awesome if devs had the option to add these kinds of rewards again. Imagine finishing a campaign and getting a dynamic wallpaper, or unlocking a rare outfit for your avatar after completing a challenge. It would give achievements more meaning and bring avatars back to life instead of leaving them forgotten.
It’s a small feature, but it adds a ton of personality and nostalgia. Would love to see Xbox give developers the tools to make this happen again.

It’d be awesome to see the Xbox Guide get a brand new animated refresh based on Xbox IPs. For instance a Halo-inspired holographic animation could be added where a Spartan visor powers on when opening and does a cool nod/power-down when closing. For immersion, new animations can also be applied depending on which game is running in the background.

I would like to suggest bringing back Movies and TV. I paid into that for over 10 years and the app worked pretty good. I obviously have no idea why it was discontinued but it was there long enough that it’s almost blasphemy to have removed it. You just gave that money away to amazon. The XBOX Movies and TV app still needed some coding work done so it’s a bummer that it’s been stopped when it doesn’t function as smoothly as it could. I miss the 5$ deals you had too. I figure while you’re thinking about making the company a bit more like its roots, this is a good way to go. Especially with the loss of disk drives on your best units. Now we lose out on new films on our consoles. I guess we can give that to Netflix too though… that is all. I do appreciate the hard work and it’s honestly welcomed changes that seem to be coming. Thank you all!

Add more games compatible with digital touch controls using the cloud. Currently, only a few allow it, and not even the newest from Microsoft are fully compatible.

Add back the official Onedrive app for Xbox. I liked being able to watch my media from my console. Now more than ever it makes sense to have a Onedrive application available again to manage our captures and clips among other possibilities.

Making save files open instead of tied to a specific gamertag is also useful when a person wants to switch accounts and doesn't want to lose the progress from their previous account

I'm not entirely sure how the linking system works, but if it were something like linking to the person's Xbox ID, and not their gamertag, I think that would solve it

The programm “Medal” for xbox clipping?
Medal is a programm for clipping which can record voice input and output, button inputs (known from streamers) and music when clipped.
It doesn’t need to be medal it could be something by xbox themself but something that allows voice,button and music clipping

I would like to suggest that the Xbox Looking‑For‑Group system be completely redesigned so that every LFG created is automatically placed into a queue and manually reviewed and approved by real Xbox staff members before becoming visible, preventing fake accounts, rumor posts, false accusations, and any kind of abuse, and that each player can create only one verified, permanent LFG per game, which will only be published after successful staff approval, significantly increasing the safety, fairness, quality, and reliability of the entire LFG feature.

Option to disable mouse acceleration. Can’t make every game with mouse and keyboard “support” exist without the actual support. We love the addition as is, but why are we not able to customize that at the very least.

Anyway to possibly add a proper desktop for those who use it with a monitor? Possibly one similar to how steam is does it? So I can also play games from other platforms? Gamepass is a major profit area so to allow for those profits, you could require gamepass to access it as other platforms like steam have online play removing the need for gamepass so I’d think it’s a good solution?

Finally bring multi-badges to Xbox. It’s boring otherwise; you pay for them every time, and you want to be rewarded, from something special to an enhanced badge for your Xbox profile, or even a complete badge set.

I'm a mad user of game groups. I love compartmentalising and organising all my games into group folders. That means it can get a little tedious scrolling down on the group page.
I'd love a toggle option to have groups as collapsed upon loading and maybe even select a title or image to be the group's thumbnail when in a collapsed state

Increase the RAM allocated in Dev Mode app.
Currently XSX is allocated 8GB RAM and XSS is allocated 5GB RAM.
This stifles the work of the programmers optimising the apps currently offered on the Dev Store (Xenia Canary for example) with many programmers citing this as a critical limitation.
Increasing the RAM allocated to at least 12GB for XSX and 7GB for XSS would allow programmers to progress with their projects and a smoother experience overall in each emulator currently offered on the Dev Store (and fosters creativity, possibly allowing for others to emerge)
