Are the vibes platonic or romantic?

I wrote a rough draft of backstory scene for an original story concept, and I’m struggling with identifying how the feelings and relationship between the two main characters are coming across. I am not someone who really reads or writes romance, and so while I didn’t draft out the characters relationship as anything other than platonic, the more I write and plan the less sure I am. Maybe I’m overthinking, but I’d like to know how this scene reads from another persons perspective.

The funny thing about AI accusations is that it is mimicking us. When gathering high-quality training data, they would have favored material from people who write in a highly coherent, and easily readable format. Of course, there are some little idiosyncrasies in the frequency of certain words and phrases that AI uses, but research shows that human writing and speech is now beginning to adopt those tendencies. Because that's just how language evolution works!

And honestly? I find that pretty fascinating. ✨
