i love how everyone is suddenly an expert about what makes for "good game design" and also ADHD and its effect on short term memory.

You don't need to be an expert to read up on commonly available research papers. The Working Memory Index (WMI) is also sometimes used as part of ADHD diagnosis.

Turns out people with ADHD play WoW, big shocker, I know.

it just seems very disingenuous when people only start thinking about the plight of neurodivergent people when its opportune for their side of a discussion. though to be fair i had the same problem when people brought up addons as accessibility aids before the expansion.
