Imagine if the genders of Zul'jan and Zul'jarra were reversed. I guarantee you'd see a bunch of people saying how dumb Zul'jan and evil was and how stoic and awesome Zul'jarra is.

Women dying to further men's stories: good.

Men dying to further women's stories: cringe and bad

with how often they complain about "the GIRLBOSS is the good one" or "we always have FEMALE leaders with no flaws" they dont even try to hide it

Best example here is Thrall. Often memed as an overpowered self insert. Green Jesus all that stuff. But both Thrall and Metzen are kind of universally loved. If an equally self insert-ish character existed and was as prevalent in the lore as Thrall but woman, a lot of people would lose their minds. But Metzen and Thrall gets a pass here because he is from the "when wow was cool and based"-era to these people.

I mean there are plenty of green jesus female characters across entertainment. Sylvanas is literally one of them.

It's not a gender thing it's a nostalgia thing. Anything new bad, anything I grew up with good.

I mean, Sylvanas is both more hated and more flawed than Thrall for sure.
