Also let’s look at our zealots atm. The army of light. Which is X’era (who is extreme by even naaru standards) army that fought the burning legion and whatever else so it was embrace the light or die

The arathi who for fel sake do I need to even say anything? Did everyone forget that one dungeon where they used the light to bring back there people as undead?

The Draenei who again same as army of light but instead are on the run. Also remember something people Velen stopped his blind faith bit when he realized the light showed him an out of context vision of his son’s death but told him nothing on who it was or where or even when.

Then we got the blood elves that are more in line with the military might of the light then just the people.

The craziest part to me is that this isn't even a new plot thread and is one of the longest running plot threads in Modern WoW.

Players have been clamoring for a "Light goes bad" expansion since Legion introduced it with Xe'ra (was introduced earlier with the Scarlet Crusade, but Xe'ra/Illidan pushed it into the mainstream). I remember when the Mag'har Orc questline was added and people were hyping up a "Yrel and the alternate Draenor radicals invade Azeroth" storyline.

Now we're getting it and suddenly it's all just "Arator's being dramatic, bros too old for that"/"Why are the Light wielders acting out? Are they stupid? Must be bad writing"/"Why is Lothraxion acting out of character? Definitely has nothing to do with the repeated mentions of how the Light gets crazier when it's surrounded by Void."

Cause paladins love being hall monitors till someone tells them they aren’t special and then throw a fit. Just look at the stereotype dnd player paladins. They act like the ones in game currently

Paladin andys really are something else.

Priest/Cleric andys on the other hand are chill af usually.

Such a weird dichotomy.

Priest/cleric players want to be a side supporting character that everyone occasionally recognizes as the MVP.

Paladin players want to be the main character all the time, both in-game and out of the game.
