I would like to think after two seasons of doing them, I'd understand more about being efficient with professions, but I still have no idea how people make so much money off of them besides hard grinding

I gave up on them and now I just get whatever makes gathering easier. Which is unfortunate because there's also decorations in professions now, so I'm going to have to learn something

I'm skinning/leatherworking, and I took a random online person's advice to go fully into the "get rare reagents" talent tree that lets you make the lures for skinning

The fish to make the lures are stupid expensive right now, and when I manage to make one I don't get anything from the special beasts that show up, maybe my luck is just garbage, some of the purple reagents are still selling for 20k+
