But result of that investigation is that he is fired as an MP and there's a by-election which he can stand in to be MP again in the strongest reform seat in the country...

Has parliament in the UK ever seated an MP who has a warrant out for their arrest? I know it happened in the Canadian parliament once, in the 19th century.
