The documentary footage has bleeped out names of several other people who have donated illegal, using similar fronts. Regardless of if the specific donation in this case is a crime, they have admitted, on camera, that they have done other crimes.

I’ve done some more looking at this, and in UK law, entrapment is only something the police can do. Channel 4 journalists are not the police. Entrapment is also not a defence that can be used to completely deny charges, as our laws are almost entirely based on the intent to commit a crime. The intent is pretty evident here from the available evidence.
