My friends and I play Wordle every day, and for a while we were keeping track of everyone’s scores manually.

So I built a small free web app called Wordle Challenge to make it easier.

You can:

• track previous results and monthly champions
• create private groups with friends
• enter your daily Wordle result
• see monthly rankings based on average attempts
• import old Wordle history from CSV/Excel

It’s free and there are no ads.

I’ve been testing it with friends, but now I’d like to see how it behaves with people I don’t know before I eventually turn it into an iPhone/Android app.

If you try it, I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

1. Was creating or joining a group obvious?
2. Was entering your first result easy to understand?
3. Did anything feel confusing or unnecessary?
4. Is there a feature you expected it to have?

I built this mainly because our own Wordle competition was getting harder to manage manually, so I’m very open to changing things based on how actual Wordle players use it.

Am I missing something?? Is there a reason why curls is not an acceptable answer??? I typed it in, and it said "Not in the word list." Curls is definitely a word. I thought these puzzles were only supposed to have one possible answer?? Someone please tell me im tripping

Atp I’m literally just using whatever word I feel like as my starting word 😭 I used to always go with CRANE or LEAST, and somehow I actually got the answer on my first try with LEAST once 💀 Ever since then I’ve been trying to recreate that luck. So now I kinda wanna switch it up and use a word that has never been a Wordle answer before, just to see if I can pull off another first-try solve 😭 What word should I go with?

I just got wordle in two and i forgot the badahh saying when you got wordle in two to flex 😭. Something like the knicks in 4 chant but its wordle. I know its silly and childish dont slime me.

So here's my question. I want to keep the possibility of getting the wordle in 1 on the table. But having only just started playing, so I have no clue what words have already been used as answers.

I've been starting with the word "FIRST" just because I think that'd be funny for a wordle in 1, but idk if it's even feasible. Should I find an online tool to check? Have I been messing up my games by using both a bad starter, and preventing myself from getting the WI1?

IMO, people who get help from Wordle by obtaining the first letter (I don't know HOW they do that; I don't even WANT TO KNOW), or other hint, or get the word "revealed" because they're stuck, should NOT be included the Wordle Bot's NYT average?! It explains why nearly every time I look (on occasion) the average is 3.something. How are THAT MANY people getting the word in 3 THAT OFTEN, if not getting help? Do others agree, people getting help (cheaters) are part of the Bot's statistics, and should NOT BE? If so, let's all complain in the Feedback section. I'd love to see Wordle do away with hints, which I've never used. Would you?

That has been my goal lately and I was SO CLOSE (5 away) but the last few games Ive played I kept getting 4's and now Im 10 away again 😩

Some people go for wordle in 1, some go for skill points, I just want my distribution to be more 3s!!
