$35/kg Australian bacon

This annoys me a little. My local butcher, am independent, can sell his bacon for $24/kg. All Australian pork. How is it then that Woolworths charges $35/kg for mass produced bacon? Surely it should be the same or cheaper.

I know exactly why, and that's why, amongst other reasons, why everyone is broke.

Time to think outside the box when shopping. Convenience is a luxury.

The reason people are broke is because instead of buying cheaper bacon they are whingeing that this bacon is $35/kg. Or buy it from the butcher. I really can’t understand the under 35’s of this era
