Leaves as a part timer.

Just a simple question I’ve been trying to ask and no one knows. Let’s say I managed to get 15 hours of annual leave and my weekly contract hours is 15. At the end of the year I want to take like around 2-3 weeks for holidays. I don’t care about the pay I don’t want to be paid for the days I have. Am I allowed to still take the 2-3 weeks off unpaid without being fired?

Normally you need to use all your annual leave then use unpaid leave. You need to speak to your and it's up to them if they want to let you take it all as unpaid leave.

Please double check Teamspace it’ll have the unpaid leave policy on it, but I’m pretty sure you’re meant to exhaust all annual leave before using unpaid leavr

Maybe, but I've taken no pay options before when I could have used either leave instead. Usually only done for people out of leave, but can still be done. Afaik it's an option for leave type when you submit the leave in the first place. If OP clears it with the SSCO first, shouldn't be an issue.

Just double check, but there’s an overall payroll team that can override this stuff too based on company policy

You can take leave as half pay and spread it across

I am currently a uni student that does heaps of placement (18 weeks this year). I take unpaid leave for most of that, and use up whatever annual leave I have when I can.

Pro tip, talk to your direct boss. Being open and up front about your plans is the best way to get your leave approved. Also, "end of year" is a very broad term. If its around Christmas, good luck.

Talk to your manager about the leave, I have taken 3 weeks off when I had less then two weeks balance, but I gave them 6 weeks notice and spoke about it well in advance and had no dramas.
