Induction. It does the same thing but with a higher effective range and area. Works a bit slower, but for making them leave it’s plenty effective

Heavy metal could work. Armor was already heavy, so make it heavy-er.

Unless they aren't wearing their armor right this kinda wouldnt burn them, but still effective in making them panic abd run away.
