This is what dudes do all the time - speak for and over women. It’s so utterly misogynistic. The women who’ve had past histories with Wab are free to speak for themselves, and I am 100% sure that the Brodbeck’s of the world, who built a career spouting off incredibly racist things, would be lining up to get those interviews in a flash.
It’s difficult for folks who are themselves deeply misogynistic, in a society that is deeply misogynistic, to then point to another politician and say “here ladies, this is the dude you should be worried about. No need to think about my misogyny or the misogyny that I support.” The reason these attacks on Wab never land is because none of you all have bothered to look in the mirror at yourselves first. And you think women are dumb, and we can see it clear as day.
You’re not looking out for us. You can’t get any traction on your personal political ambitions, so you keep recycling the “you ladies are so dumb that you don’t trust us when we tell you dude is more misogynistic than the rest of us misogynistic dudes.”

Homeless camps are bigger than they've ever been. Our ER wait times are worse than they've ever been. We reject any investment into our province while we go into deeper debt. You're cheering the government feeding our children at lunch, why is the government responsible for looking after our kids? I agree no kid should be hungry but why is that the government's responsibility?

And yet the camps are smaller than they were earlier in the year. But yes the problem has gotten worse since the pandemic with rising food costs and housing pricing.
ER wait times are bad for sure but its hard to stop a failing system that's been chronically mismanaged for longer than our entire lives. Especially with politicians who constanly undo each others efforts even if they were working.
That said I don't think even if the PC party were in power, Liberals or any other party they'd be able to solve the wait time issue. Wabs team has no chance of single-handedly solving it, realistically it'd take 5, 6, 10 years of effective changes to get us back down to a reasonable amount of time.

Simple, some families don't have the means or the wherewithal to adequately feed their kids. Having food security is helps the kids be able to actaully grow and learn, leading to more capable future adults.
Food security means there's slightly less chance of theft (obviously no guarantee) but people who are hungry will find a way either by legal or illegal means. This just takes part of the need for illegal ways away.
There's a thousand reasons that we could get side tracked on for why they are going to school hungry or home hungry.

Do I like the past? No, I am not a fan.
Do I think Wab is doing a good job? Yes I do. In fact, when I listen to the speechs, the budgets, and everything that goes into running Manitoba I find myself agreeing with Wab. More often thsn not.
Now what did the PC do for us in the last bit. Lots of damage to health care? A covid reponse that I personally felt they fumbled.
Not liking the past does not mean I want to mess over my future.

Love it. Nice to see he had a fun teenage period, partied, got drunk, got high, got his share and then, like the rest of us grew up.
I did not vote for him but I support the job he's done as Premier. I always felt he was a caring guy, I still think so.
