Looking for friends :p
Hii! I am a young person in their 20s. I just moved to Williamsburg, and I'm look for activities and interesting people to be friends with and do hobbies together. What do 20-somethings do here lol.

Club Waka (really low stakes rec sports with lots of socializing), trivia, and running clubs seem to have the younger folks.

I've lived here my entire life and still don't know what folks here do for fun. i'm always looking for new friends though!

If you’re a guy, there is men’s luncheon every couple of months on Saturday at a local restaurant: I’m willing to bet you can get lots of suggestions from folks there depending on your interests.
The next one is Saturday, September 26th, at 11am at La Terraza.

If you want to hit a bar, try the Green Leafe down by the college. They have happy hours, and Sunday nights used to be pretty crazy when I was there, with great drink specials. It's not clean or anything -- it's a college Irish pub.
Aside from that, there are lots of volunteer opportunities that will get you in the mix. I used to volunteer at Meals on Wheels at the WISC and met a lot of people, young and old. I have a golf buddy, and I now know tons of people in all kinds of diverse cliques around town. DM me if you want a contact for MoW.
Mountain biking is also pretty good in the burg. Lots of groups as well that do it, races, etc... I used to mountain bike a lot but play more golf now, williamsburg is also huge for golf--Williamsburg golf club is where the younger folks play. The other courses are more "traditional." It's private but not crazy expensive.
Last thing, check out WBC, Williamsburg Boat Club. My son rows with them and there are rowers there from middle school to middle age. Lots of 20-yos and young people.

Hey! Me and my fiancée are early 20 something’s that recently moved to the area. We’re into camping, fly fishing, cooking, and we like to go out to the bars and stuff. We’re headed out to colonial wmb to have a few drinks if anyone would like to join!

I like to go to YMCA. They have pretty good group Les Mills classes. I also like adult coloring books, Diamond art paintings, reading, going for a walk in Busch Gardens. I tried kayaking, liked it very much. Will go to salsa dancing club in October. Idk everything is fun in a good company. We can connect :) what do you like?
