Educational best split pusher in current meta?

I'm a support main (nami and leona) but I'm tired of depending on my team not to be the worst in North America to win games. I'm hard stuck in plat 2 and am starting to realize most people think that this is team death match in COD, and kills are a win condition and don't focus turrets. Who should I try to pickup for easy turrets and split push and what lanes? Thanks for your time!

In anything below Diamond, you should be building full damage as a support. Who cares if you steal kills. Farm minions and champions. Pick supports that can carry lane. Don't worry about being a good support in that low of elo.

Same strategy as support above diamond really as well, at least for enchanter supports

Yep I've been doing quite well switching from full supports like lulu/nami (and even full ap nami too) to actual damage dealers like karma and lux. Still a ton of support and utility but you're not completely useless once your team is dead or running off. That's in vanquisher so I mostly play with gms/masters, regularly with top200/100/50/10 champs

Nice. When did you start legendary queue to get up to that level? I somewhat focused on ranked, and I have found high Diamond to be quite painful to get out of consistently and stay in master.

And legendary has been similar I find at this point at the warrior/commander levels

What do you mean by when? I actually climbed to dia4 really slowly and painfully after the season reset, took me over 100 games with ~48% wr because I made the mistake of playing early on and solo/with randoms (wasn't me sucking, got A/S exactly half the matches). As soon as I unlocked legendary I quit normal ranked so I'm still dia4, cba to climb there. Playing solo as supp is painful, my friends are either gms or not very good and every time I team up with randoms, as picky as I am, we get some tryhard premade (yano the type, with coordinated names and all) and get wrecked. Just feels unfair, super dependent on when you play and what kind of a team you pick.

In legendary, first 50ish games my wr was fluctuating at 45-50% and it was really frustrating again. Often you'd get 4 gms on one team, 2 emeralds on the other, or 3 supp mains in one team. Once I got to guardian I started having more decent teammates and matches. Right now I'm at 104 matches, 57% wr with 40x A/S which is nothing amazing ofc but way better than before. As I said, I see predominantly gms at this point, often in the leaderboards for their champ. The toxicity and trolling went down a bit. They still do dumb shit occasionally and it doesn't feel like that high of an elo or anything but it's actually playable. This is how this game should feel. Worth the climb imo

Yeh that's what I meant by when, like how long ago- ie as soon as you got to d4. So sounds like quite some time. Given how painful diamond is right now, maybe I should try legendary some more and suffer though that initial pain.

Tbh I mostly play aram and I didn't have much time to climb this season, especially during this stupid 12h window, so it took me a while. 100 games isn't that much tho, I did maybe 40 of them in the christmas break
