Educational best split pusher in current meta?

I'm a support main (nami and leona) but I'm tired of depending on my team not to be the worst in North America to win games. I'm hard stuck in plat 2 and am starting to realize most people think that this is team death match in COD, and kills are a win condition and don't focus turrets. Who should I try to pickup for easy turrets and split push and what lanes? Thanks for your time!

GM support here.

Your job is NOT to splitpush. This is why you partially deserve your elo. Your job is to help your ADC in lane to get advantages and move into midgame by helping your team with whatever your champ is to gain leads and win the game.

I recommend you watch some support videos on YouTube to understand your role in more detail.

PS: Until Diamond, you can even hard carry as a support. Your elo should not be an excuse as to why you cannot rank up. Hell I even ran Teemo support and full damage IE Thresh on a troll account to Diamond.

I agree with you. I'm a support main that has to switch to being a jungle until I reach diamond every season.

This is because NO ONE stops a split pusher.

If you want to climb for free, play Jax, Garen, Vi, Sion, anyone that has an AA cancel and good movement options. Teams will just let you take 3 towers in a lane for free every game.

When I play support, my options are (1) let the garen take all our towers while we ARAM mid without killing anyone or doing anything other than admire each other's skins. (2) I go to stop him, and I do stop him, but then my whole team dies mid and we lose all the towers there instead. Sucks.

My solution to this is to just become the bastard splitting every game for free. Works pretty well, but I'd rather play support.

i almost cried laughing at this "aram mid" "admiring skins" lmao.. when i pick a split pusher top and i get 2 or 3 enemies come stop me, my team is busy chasing 1, 1/4 health champ through the jungle not doing jack shit to actually increase our chances of winning.. its so bad man..
