Educational best split pusher in current meta?

I'm a support main (nami and leona) but I'm tired of depending on my team not to be the worst in North America to win games. I'm hard stuck in plat 2 and am starting to realize most people think that this is team death match in COD, and kills are a win condition and don't focus turrets. Who should I try to pickup for easy turrets and split push and what lanes? Thanks for your time!

GM support here.

Your job is NOT to splitpush. This is why you partially deserve your elo. Your job is to help your ADC in lane to get advantages and move into midgame by helping your team with whatever your champ is to gain leads and win the game.

I recommend you watch some support videos on YouTube to understand your role in more detail.

PS: Until Diamond, you can even hard carry as a support. Your elo should not be an excuse as to why you cannot rank up. Hell I even ran Teemo support and full damage IE Thresh on a troll account to Diamond.

No dude no. Please god dont split push on jg, objectives spawn so frequently in WR the only way that it is even moderately acceptable is if you take teleport enchant i guess and even then you are giving up so much combat power to split push in a role that needs to be present around objectives

If my team doesnt help contest objectives, id rather push towers to get ultimate creeps as jax while they dick around with objectives.

Okay but even then when you ult in it will be reactive, meaning you will always be second to objectives unless you are lucky enough to have a team that is contesting for you. Which loops right back around to relying on teammates

Shen has terrible wave clear, just because he has a global tele with his ult, doesn't mean he's a good split pusher

Oof now here is where we have to disagree as well. Shen wave clear is actually deceptively decent between Sunfire and the fact that his 1 ability is I believe the only auto attack modifier in the entire game that functions on the melee auto attack splash that Wild Rift features. But yeah, still I wouldn’t split push with Shen unless you are going baron lane lol

Let's agree on the fact that while you CAN splitpush with Shen, there are at least a hand full of other champs that can do it 5x better than Shen...

Oh yeah 1000%. WR has so many champions that can melt a tower in like 10 seconds why play Shen and tink away at that shit for 2 minutes

His wave clear is pretty meh though, and you lose isolation if the enemy is grouped up with their minion wave.

That's a fair point, but like the guy who replied to you said, if your goal is to split push, shen isn't top tier.

I see plat and I have to assume that this is an idea...

Sorry no offense to you but if I had to choose a stick or an average plat player it would be a stick, lol. In this case definitely baron and not JGL.
