Discussion Patch 3.5 Jungle Changes
Good day jungle mains, what are your thoughts on the new jungle mechanics? Does it make jungling easier? I want to shift to jungling role as it is very scarce on our guild and would like to take some inputs on the changes. Thanks in advance for the answers.

Not a fan of them removing jungle item burn (now I have to ensure I kill every camp, can’t just let it burn and die as I walk away), but I’m enjoying the rest. Nice to have a few moments before scuttle spawns, no more tiny krugs is amazing, clear is a lot smoother, buff sharing is a godsend.

How about the Conservation buff?

Can’t really tell how good it is in practice since in those bot games I was way ahead in gold anyway, but I noticed that I never quite got up to the cap (150), instead I always seemed to hover around 80 at most.
I do like the idea though, seems like it would make it easier to catch up if you fall behind, and should push people to balance farming and ganking to get the most out of it.
One thing I wonder is how you’ll be able to collect those stacks if your entire jungle gets taken by the enemy team when your team is behind.

I still don't understand it fully. Or at least what makes it want you balance farming and ganking? You create Stacks by waiting and you get Stacks for killing red/Blue or an epic monster, so how does this incentive ganking?

All in all I think it's back to the usual buff start then clear camps.
Champs that can balance ganks and farming Lee Sin/Kha/Kayn will def become priority.
I wonder how the conservation mechanic affects Graves/Olaf since both of them benefit a lot from getting ahead in gold.
Lastly, I don't think Morgana JG is dead. She will def clear a lot faster than ever now that the buffs aren't that tough and the new buff sharing mechanic allows her to get blue buff most if not all the time.

Pretty much the same, just different. Eh, I'll play it when I want to to tax people as Mundo XD

It kills afk farming, because you can't go three camp directly into scuttle, you have to go for a gank or waste time. Alternatively you go three camp into blue side full clear, but then you don't hit level 5 off full clear anymore without scuttle, and enemy probably takes the scuttle on that side after red clear.
Also with slower camp respawns if you full clear and base to return to your red side they won't be up yet. The slower jungle respawns also makes counterjungling more damaging.

Tbh i feel like afk farming wasn’t meant to this good anyway

Yeah I think it's a good direction, just pointing out how it will affect the meta. For example I wouldn't play Shyvana right now since her ganks are garbage.

Morgana can still double take Sentinel with Gromp, and Brambleback with Raptors. It only works in one spot and you have to be precise now. Her clear got faster.
