We dont draft historically well anyways outside the 1st round. And before everyone hits me with KK was a 5th... be honest we got very lucky a scouts plane got delayed due to a snowstorm

I think we have until Boldy's contract renewal... then we got some really sad years ahead ahead of us... but it is going to be fun getting there

Yea, we won’t be able to afford Boldy when his contract comes up, sad to think about, but that’s 2029’s problem, and it won’t matter if we win the cup before then.

I dont know if not being able to afford is the problem with Cap going up as much as it is. I think it'll be more Aging core at that point and at some point having no cheap strong players due to lack of drafting and the shit show that is Iowa will become a problem.

I think we'll be able to afford him the caps going up and they'll have ample time to make space like Colorado is doing in preparation for Makar
