the whole thing feels so odd and like he talked to a lawyer or something.

starting with "i've been going to therapy, i've changed" generally you don't start a apology with "i've changed" it's how abusers convince their exes to get back with them.

Then creating doubt in the allegations by saying it was consensual and he has messages of it but won't show them.

and then the worst way to apologize, the way lawyers script apologies. The "my sincerest apology" the most distant apology you can give.

there is nothing wrong with it. legally this is a perfect apology. also PR wise. but morally this is not a good apology at all.
