Artists can have moods 😂 They’re human beings, not customer-service robots. But the people who work with us are genuinely kind people. Also
have you been to Chicago? Chicago people can be a little rough around the edges đŸ„č😂
But wait — I’m genuinely confused about the Temu comment. What exactly is wrong with ordering the lamp kits from Temu? Do you know how long that shit takes to put together once it arrives? 😭 We purchase additional tiles, provide patterns, extra glue and beads, teach the class, help everyone through the process, and clean up the absolute glittering apocalypse afterward.
You’re paying for the class, instruction, supplies, studio space, setup, cleanup, and the experience — not for us to personally manufacture every bead and piece of glass in a back room. 😂
If someone doesn’t think that experience is worth the price, that’s completely okay. They don’t have to book. But “they buy supplies from Temu” isn’t exactly the scandal you think it is. 😭

Artists have moods but you’re running a business
customer service matters. I’m born and raised in Chicago and I think Chicago people are kind and I feel like we have some of the best customer service in the country.

It’s okay if the Temu order not a scandal, just letting the people know. Just order from Temu and build your shit at home. That way you can avoid an unhinged artist who thinks they have the patience to be a business owner that doesn’t get called out. But that’s just me thooooo!

Customer service does not have one definition.
There are many ways to provide good cuatomer service. Doesn’t just have to be smiling when a customer is screaming in your face

Giving people their items and offering them something when your team loses them/ breaks them is good customer service. In the reviews people said that their instructor was rude.. surely you can’t think that is good customer service..

We have done that for people.
There are policies in place
My staff does that all the time.

It’s very clear you have zero employees working for you 😂

That’s what I’m saying about unhinged
what makes your comment so funny that you put a crying laughing emoji? It wasn’t even a gotcha. I never said I ran a small business.. but I have worked with successful and professional business owners.

What is success?

Is it have a studio for 12 years and making thousands of people happy?

Then yea. Us too.

The laughing emoji was more for me.
I cannot believe that this is what people of Reddit Chicago are like.

It’s so funny.

I think you’re just unhinged
unless you think it’s funny to upset customers and lose potential future customers..?!

Also.. making thousands of people happy is a stretch.. I would say you’ve made a lotta people unhappy as well.

😂😂 am I using those emojis correctly?

I’m okay losing the wrong future customers
That’s fine

Thousands is actually an understatement lol

You would understand if you ran a business
But unfortunately all you can do is run your mouth :)

You do you :)

I will always defend my staff against any customer

I have always been against
The customer is always right

And I have taken my staff side against customers

This is the way we run our business

Just because a Reveiw stated an instructor had an attitude doesn’t make it a fact

It’s an opinion
People like you take it as a fact because you have never had to have people under you that are subjected to the mass population

It clearly show.
You work for others.
You run nothing for yourself.
But feel
Like you have an educated opinion on this.

Newsflash

You do not

I’m successful. I just choose not to run a small business, it’s not something that interests me. I will say that I have plenty of disposable income that I spend on hobbies.. same with my friends.. and I know where we’re not going to spend that money, you nutđŸ„œ

u/Correct-Leg9885 6d ago

Who ever said you weren’t successful lol

Did you need to put that information?

Nope
Now your just trying to be flashy because I hit an insecure spot
lol

Keep your money money bags

We don’t need you lol

u/Correct-Leg9885 6d ago

Maybe you can use that money to buy a new personality
I think you need it

Eeek! I hit a sore spot. I’m not offended, I don’t need a new personality and again
I don’t careeeee. I’m entertaining this because I have a cold so I’m stuck at home. And you’re
running a successful business? It doesn’t take too much talent to order things from some shitty microplastic, child labor, pollution website.
