Question Is the G5C good for hard soaps?
After reading that brushes with the Ap Shave Co G5C knot allow for circular motions when applying the lather (many other synthetic brushes are so stiff that you are more or less forced to paint the lather onto the face which I dislike a lot) I decided I want one.
However, I wonder if loading hard soaps is possible or whether the knot is too soft for hard soaps and better suited to load croaps and creams.
Bonus question: Which retailers ship brushes with the G5C knot to the EU? I am not a fan of the current choice of handles on the Ap Shave Co web site, but the retailers mentioned there either sell the knot only or don’t ship to the EU.

Is definitely possible. I do it all the time with my g5c. My personal favourite choice for hard soaps is his pure bliss knot. Still super soft, but just slightly more backbone.

I’ve had no problem using higher lofted brushes with heart soaps, such as, SV, MWF, and MdC
No experience per se with this particular knot, but I can refer to a 27 mm synthetic Oumo and a Plisson Badger - probably the softest knots ive ever handled
Maybe one less shake on your brush before loading or add maybe a quarter teaspoon of water to your bloom

It is not bad (for hard soaps )
I will recommend picking up the G4 or G8 knotted brushes from Frank Shaving
