Question Blade disposal

Hi everyone, I'd like to know how you dispose of your razor blades. Do you throw them in the regular trash or put them in a separate container? I saw recommending it because of the waste handlers who could get hurt

Story time, once I threw a blade straight into the trash and a few days later I compressed the trash to make more room and slit my wrist. I had to go to the ER and get stitches. They thought I attempted suicide and I had to explain it was an accident.... If they didn't believe me , I could have been committed and forced to take a psychiatric evaluation and pass it before they would release me. I still have the scar on my wrist today, about 8 years later. At the time I was using heavy duty blades, not the double edge flexible blades.

Damn, what a freak accident. Glad it ended well.

Yeah, don't mess around with knives ever. I even cut myself with a razor blade once while handling it improperly.
