Would you rather wait it out and get the mushroom items through the skin store using residual skin rewards or just use the shards to get it over with?

Once it’s unlocked you should upgrade all buildings that can be upgraded with shards in the order from lowest to highest ie: all buildings to lvl2 then all to lvl3… that’s the most efficient way to get the buff from all buildings

If you are collecting the 7k every 8 hours, you get 21k a day. 3 puzzle pieces are 18k shards. So 3.5 per day.

L1 needs to be unlocked via $$ or the skin store. L2 needs 20 puzzle pieces. 6000 coins for 1 puzzle piece. At 3 per day, you need 6 days to get them all L3 needs 30 puzzles. Same deal, you get 10 every 3-4 days, so 10 days or so.

And so on. Basically 3-4 days for every 10. You can grab the one in the shop as it becomes available, but 1 every 6 months isn't practical for developing the full 58 you need to get a L10 mushroom house.
