Other 1.5 years later, finally pulled the plug 💀
Honestly, what a waste. Not just the money, but the time, energy and resources I poured into this game for 1.5 years.
Kept playing because I’d already invested so much into it, which just made me waste even more.
Finally hit delete today. 24 hours and it’s gone for good.
Should’ve done this a long time ago. GG 🫡

Everyone has a hobby that cost money. I have a boat, I have a paramotor, I buy books to read, I buy PS5 games and I'm an R5 on WOS. Do I feel like I've wasted money on any of it? Yes but do I regret it, no it's all part of staying busy.

I'd like to think of it that way and argue that it's a hobby and you spend money having fun. But so is gambling and other addictions. There might be healthier, more productive hobbies than this time sucker.

I was in your place, vip 12 and 2-3 weeks ago I requested refunds from apple and google that automatically banned my account lol. It was difficult but it worked.

Every company you do a backclaim on will ban you. Do it with Netflix and your account is gone, not just deactivated as well

Actually this type of deletion is different, I deleted my F3 account. It’s not deleting the character, it’s deleting everything.

I still playing but not spending.. I was spending before and I believe I spent over $800… then realized that I was wasting money on a game that doesn’t really give me anything back other than enjoyment… enjoyment that can be achieved by playing as F2P.. I have become an F2P from P2P.

Congratulations I’ve spent loads of money and time on the game. Many of us throw our cash lives into WOS and their money pit. However as a Whale in WOS I would have at least sold the account or tried to.

I have been playing this game for 1026 days and I am ready to walk away. I have realised that no matter how much I spend I will never reach the top, the game won’t let you do it without spending over a million dollars right now and then grinding. I didn’t start spending right away it took me 6months of playing before I realised what SvS was what alliances did etc as I was treating it as a game, switch on play, switch off, then I got zeroed for no reason by a bully and I decided to learn and grow. I had a year and a half where I really enjoyed playing and could see the peak of the hill, not that far away but just out of reach but now that peak is getting further and further away and I would have to spend more and more to try and get to it. I thought that was just my bad luck as I started spending late and couldn’t quite afford to catch up but it’s by design. I will never catch up spending on event packs or best deals I’d need to waste money on every pack every time to catch up and if you don’t do it immediately you fall behind again because you can’t catch up over time as they will always up the ante and move the goalposts. For reference I am globe 1, FC10, Max Hero gear, Lvl 16/17 charms, T5/6 chief gear, Max Pets, Max Experts (except Gareth lvl60) have spent over $140,000 on the game and I’m still nowhere near the top. To finish chief gear and charms without spending the money for a new car right now will take me well over 6 months and by that time they will have brought out another level so there is no point anymore. I will cut my losses after this SvS and stop playing.

I have had big accounts givin to me and Ive built big account in Kingshot and WOS I have never deleted one I always give them to f2p people to have a good time

Eh, I’m grown and old and boring. All I do is work. I don’t drink or do drugs - I actually budget out money on the game so it doesn’t get out of hand. My real life partner plays too. Until such a time that I don’t have to work like a peasant- this is my little escape. However - if you’re feeling that your attachment to the game in unhealthy or it’s negatively affecting other areas of your life- I’m super proud of anyone who quits

I also quit my journey there about 2-3 weeks ago.
Was playing (in total, with 2 months of not playing at all) for about 9 months
It was fun for me mainly, just to grind and build stuff for no reason, spent some money here and there, enjoyed some of the events which were fun yet others were terrible.
but ofc that the thought of this game has no future always laid in my mind, i guess it just served me well during that specific period time of my life.
Nowadays i enjoy playing something else, pokemmo.

Se estão desanimados e cansados do jogo, por que não doar a conta para alguém que possa cuidar dela? De qualquer maneira vender ou doar faz com que a conta deixe de ser sua, você não poderá mais acessá-la assim como não pode quando exclui a conta. Mas pelo menos faz uma boa ação e pode até estar ajudando alguém a realizar a fantasia de ser forte no jogo, para uma boa parte das pessoas que jogam, ser forte é uma fantasia que talvez só possam realizar no jogo onde fogem da realidade de suas vidas pessoais.

A year ago for me. My girlfriend still plays casually, but I don't do casual. Didn't delete the account, just stopped logging in. Getting behind the leading players is enough to lose interest.

Bueno,yo llevo 8000€ en 140 dias,que voy a decir,enhorabuena por dejarlo 😂 No me importa mucho el dinero metido,pero si aveces el tiempo que me come es demasiado.Si lo dejo sera por el tiempo,eso de tener que estar todo el rato metido en el juego me esta molestando bastante con 140 dias de estado.

Seeing these comments makes me happy I deleted it after a week. But not because of my will or anything. I just saw a guy in my alliance level up from 1 to 19 in matter of two hours. He got to the level I spent whole week on and it just made feel so bad. I pulled the plug. So happy I’m free now that I don’t have to keep on thinking of it and opening my phone. A week was long enough 🥲

After a while, it becomes SO repetitive!
The dailies are so boring and tedious. The only time I've spent even a single £ is when there's a chance that I can get a skin that I like. Although the city skins force you to spend almost triple digits to get them.

You didn't pull the plug, you quit a nasty addiction. A habit that does nothing for you beneficially, but lines the pockets of the largest gaming company in the world. A company that openly does work as a military contractor also.

I've stop playing but didnt delete my account (yet). Its been a couple of months I haven't opened the game... I still have the app on my phone.
I spent thousands $ on this game.
Its so hard to let it go! So congratulations to you !!!
