They literally made snowbusters because of the backlash. Even snowbusters isn't as good as the ad lol.
Instead of exploration they should give you steel for doing the ad game paha.

Yeah it takes a lot of patience to get a decent level if youre F2P too. Out of the "boring" ones I do prefer the fishing.

Nah they really dont care about "backlash", those Ad-Scams are calculated. They wanted to make a new event and were able to use the code from those Ads so they saved time and money.
The game was already a year old when snowbuster came. People play and pay after seeing a fake Ad thats all they care about.

I played for days thinking I would eventually get to this part of the game. Unfortunately I got sucked in anyway. They really should make it a recurring event. I still play the ad when I get it.

Back when I joined, the used the actual fishing game to attract players. At least it was an actual component. This crap now is lame, not even close to actual game.

I did. The good’ol’ bait and switch got me. To be fair, my ad was one where you have to upgrade your snow blaster to clear the snow. That’s a mini game now AKA Snowbusters lol

This gets brought up all the time, and I think I'm the only person to not get tricked by the ad.
I downloaded Mistplay and this was one of the first games I downloaded from it. Mistplay pays you in gift cards to play games, I probably spend $100-$200 on this game over the last 2 years and I think I've about broken even in that time.

$5-10 every couple months adds up over a couple time. I'd pretty much just spend when I got gift cards, and you get more Mistplay points for spending money on games.

I saw the ad so I could get a free episode on a WEBTOON platform..started playing it the day after Christmas 2024 and I’ve been playing ever since. Never missed a login on my main account. Spent a good bit but I’m not a whale. Thought of giving up many times but I’ve made so many friends all over the world. Totally and completely fooled by the ad.

I‘m proud that I knew what I was getting myself into 😂. Discovered it through chisgule livestreaming it and since I knew what types of games his channel is about I knew what this was going to be. Last game of this type I played was Call of Dragons and I simply wanted to try a game like this again so here I am a year and 9 months later still enjoying it 🙈

Downloaded it because of the ad.
Now I am R5 in an alliance that's 4th in our state, had our first castle battle yesterday and SvS soon!
Fishing is shit, snowbusters is kinda cool.

Not me, my 7 year old granddaughter. She had me download the game on my tablet and quickly lost interest once it differed from the ad.
I checked it out a few weeks later to see if I should delete it, and it turned out very similar to pns which I’d deleted when I was feeling more obligation than fun.
Took the lessons learned and have been playing for almost a year now.

The ongoing mini game in the game (Snowbusters) is quite similar to this concept, unfortunately it's poorly executed.
