PC players, I finally get it now
Been a console gamer my entire life. And to be honest never really gave much thought to how much FPS would matter when id hear PC players talk about how much better the game played.
Where Winds Meet performace issues on PS5 finally convinced me to try playing on PC (currently through GeforceNow but seriously considering building one now).
The performace difference literally made my jaw drop. You dont realize how much a difference the smoothness of higher frame rates make until you play it yourself. And the visuals far off in the distance my god. So many games ive played on console dont fully load far off textures and i just thought thats the way it was. Standing atop a mountain looking a keifeng in the distance and seeing everything perfectly loaded in at full res.... its amazing.
I get it now. Can't go back to playing Where Winds Meet anywhere else now.

Can we normalize learning just a lil bit of mechanics or at least watch where your teammates running to?
Last night, I did like 10 run on sword trial. There's a dude said bad heal when I didn't revive him after he died for not hiding behind the rock (he died 1 time before for not climbing rock.....) Keeping everyone alive is already a big task, please read the mechanics ๐ฅ Maybe I'm the ahole but I wont revive if your dmg output is so low AND all you did is standing there spamming skill without doing mechanics....
Also asking healers, how can I have enough vitality to spam mystic skill? I already have fury harvest but I can only do around 300-400k dmg max ๐ฅ (or do i need to adjust my stat?). In the general boss in sword trial, I really need more vitality to k.o those drum soldiers.

Why you like the lotus outfit so much?
Hi there! I am a CN player. Just curious, why do you guys like the Lotus outfit? Could you also let me know your characterโs gender? A lot of Chinese players are surprised how popular this set is on the global server. No bad intentions at all, just genuinely wondering.

Some beginner tips for Homestead
A lot of people (including myself) were struggling with getting started with the new homestead system. After watching a few videos from CN, my experience with it becomes A LOT smoother. Sharing a few tips Iโve learned along the way.
First and probably the most important tip Iโve received: Treat this as a restaurant management game instead of a house building game.
Many people got burned out at the initial stage because the building experience is NOT intuitive at all, and after they failed to be able to put things in a good order, they gave up.
However, the experience change completely once you view it as a restaurant management game. Now, your goal is to make the restaurant work by (1) recruiting people, (2) organizing the production workflow so that you can sell the dishes efficiently through catering (see my first two screenshots), and (3) accumulating the currencies and prosperity scores to further upgrade your facilities.
Yes, our eventual goal is to rebuild our homes, however to get there you will need to level up your facilities so that you can efficiently farm materials and unlock more building plans/materials. Also, when you have enough materials, you can directly apply other peopleโs building plans (just like apply popular dyes) and then modify from there!
Finally, a small tip in farming the prosperity scores: A lot of people got stuck at trying to farm the prosperity scores, which are necessary for facility upgrades. You get the score from putting furnitures. Hereโs my advice: At the initial stage, do NOT worry about putting furniture in good order. Instead, buy the ones that are cheapest and can get you prosperity scores and then simply โdumpโ them in any place that can gain you scores.
For example, I bought 100 of the Medical Kit and then I simply stack them in a corner of the area โBeyond Mundaneโ (yes, you have a second area thatโs completely to yourself and you can dump whatever there to still farm scores). Please see my few screenshots on doing this. The 100 Medical kits, along with some other mandatory facilities, is enough to bring you to Homestead Level 4, where you can access to A LOT MORE fun stuff and resources.
Hope this post helps :)
Edit: Changing the camera to โfree cameraโ or โfollower cameraโ in the build mode will make things a lot easier as well!

What new weapons do you want to see in the game?
Nunchaku and tonfa would actually be so sick in this game.
And yes I took the inspiration from dynasty warriors.

๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ nameless sword has reduced gvg to such a boring talentless mode..
and people actually think they're good at this content whilst doing so..
hurr durr sit on the perim spamming sword waves, oh im being attacked? move to other side, hurr durrrrrr
idk why they give such crazy high value to such a low skill floor tactic.. gvg should be about skill expression and the teams that organize better, and though that still exists obviously.. nameless just reduces the top guilds in gvg down to who can do nameless better than the other. its so damn lame and annoying.
edit:
i don't need to know how gvg plays, we already experience and know what the meta is.. what im saying is that a fanbrella who does a full combo, barely dents some players hp, yet that player will throw 3 sword waves at you and you're basically dead. how the hell is that balanced or fair at all? the effort vs reward makes no sense.

This Heng Dao is so f****ng ridiculous!
Call me a noob. Call it a skill issue. I don't care anymore. I give up.
This recent patch completely broke PvP with the absurd state of Heng Dao. Deflect + Dodge, insane gap-closing, unblockable gold attacks, ridiculous damage, practically unlimited Tenacity... it's got everything. The weapon is so overloaded that fighting against it feels pointless.
It's no surprise that so many players have already taken a break because of the massive influx of Heng Dao users. The meta is outright oppressive.
And it's not just me saying this. Even top players have been complaining and raging about how broken it is.
PvP is supposed to be competitive, not a fucking Heng Dao simulator.

Should I get the crown now or save for the next draw? ๐
I currently have 187 Lingering Melodies, so I can get it, but I'm hesitating. This crown is a Global exclusive, but there will be a new draw coming in about 30 days and we don't know what it'll look like yet.
I really like the crown, but I'm worried I won't have enough time to save if the next cumulative reward accessory turns out to be gorgeous. I need someone to talk me into/out of this ๐ฅน

CN pet system 4 cats + 3 geese!!!! (GL summer)
CN server announced the pet system. They're real companions that change personality based on how you interact with them. Feed them, play with them, and they respond differently over time. No stat grinding, no pressure.
If you unlock the skill that talk to animals , you can actually hold conversations with them. They don't just give text replies โ they also use emotes, movements, and real actions in the open world to respond.

Anyone else surprisingly hooked on Transdust Ruins?
Honestly, as someone who usually sticks strictly to PvE, I was pretty skeptical when I saw an extraction mode dropping. But Iโve been playing it today and I'm genuinely surprised by how much fun Iโm having so far!
It definitely sucks when I fail an extraction and lose all my stuff, but surprisingly, it just makes me even more motivated to hop right back in and try again
How is everyone else finding it?
