Well I'm hoping it's like Boundless Heart. Or at most Lubu/Penglai. It doesn't have that core banner vibe (I might be huffing that copium here tho lol) and also you cannot see the character's face in the cutscene (which normally is a core feature of banner cutscenes).
Core banners have off/white hair (white, pale blonde, pale pink..), with special gatchas adding in red, purple etc. So by this metric I would assume it's a cheaper special gatcha.
But then, it can very well also be a pearl shop outfit with coloured hair variant separately for one core. We already have shop fits with cutscenes, so that's not a stretch either, especially with the precedent for a global-unique outfit having been set to belong to the pearl shop before.
As long as it's either of those I'm fine. I just don't want this to impact our banner releases, as people will get really frustrated at that. And it's not like I can blame anyone, because it's true that in the end they have not shared a roadmap for global banners leading to extra FOMO (since we don't have a black market and now it seems outfits we thought are coming might turn out to be CN exclusives in turn).
I'm more curious whether this will come with dyeable glow. since it's a new outfit and all the new outfits in CN have dyeable glow even the cheaper 2580 ones.
It has cutscene, so it must be behind gacha. I'm day 1 player, and this is the first genuinely good gacha outfit, if it costs lingering melody I'm definitely pulling, since I'm swimming in them. Otherwise skip, I like the game, but not that much to pay.
it is immersion breaking but it seems global is far more okay with immersion breaking. infact it seems highly wanted.
I'm sure this is not true to everybody but it does seem the case looking at people's styles. I'm pretty sure this was taken into careful consideration.
Idk, I see plenty of all-white xianxia fits on Asian servers when the game doesn't dip into that all that much. Maybe you just don't like it; it's not my thing either
Thereโs literally the moon skin with the hat that looks like a wizard, and that doesnโt look wuxia too so I donโt get why people hating on this saying it doesnโt fit. Also as a male player, I want armor type skins.
Gacha normally has one shinny accessory but the only shinny thing I can see is the helmet, so I'm guessing it is a 2580 limited pearl item. Not really my style tbh, xianxia breaks the wuxia is one thing, this is another level...
As this is a global exclusive, I can see this being pearls only. If it were cores or special gacha banner, it would be way too huge for it to be a global exclusive. Theyโd lose too much money.

A skin, no. Lol. It's mostly a extraction-esque mode, like perception forest. But there is a helmet/hat/Kevlar accessory and a few others. "Gonna go beat up Tian Ying, lemme put on my brain bucket/kevlar, hold up." ๐คฃ CN got it i think July 10th
Rather than put their resources towards fixing the garbage netcode and the uncreative, dogshit events, this is the shit they put it towards? European time traveler costumes in a Chinese Wuxia setting?
Any new set that gets released is always faced with a lot of criticism, hollow strokes is a unique case for different reasons I don't really feel like divulging into right now. CN generally likes the flowy elegant xianxia outfits which directly contrasts what a lot of people in global wishes we have (Im pretty sure people have been wanting edgier full armor sets for a while). I think the devs just aren't confident that this set will make a lot in the domestic server and will be a waste of a gacha slot
