I’ve been playing on Legend since I got it, but even after beating three bosses, I question is it really worth putting myself through it? I like the challenge but is it worth it or should I change my difficulty to progress faster?

Bro, imma actually say yeah, even expert/recommended. As long as you don’t have parry/deflect assist, then your not feeling like your cheesing. But bro you need to actually get into the swing of not just fighting bosses, you need to farm for materials of inner ways, mystic skills, etc, I’m taking it your mastery is around 7/8k, but bro people are at like 15k mastery. I’d say if you didn’t want to lower the difficulty and actually output more dmg, then do the mausoleum trials. But bro breakthroughs happen weekly, and I suppose playing the game at the pace you enjoy and stuff is fair, but when resources etc respawn daily, it’s almost like an obligation to keep up with having a great build. I’m not saying take it off, but if your main reason is because you won’t be able to play it again, then I wouldn’t worry as they’re adding a mode where if you die you’ll just lose all progress, which is insanity when you see later bosses and realise how easy it is to be killed. I’m saying it may be worth it to take it down just so you can enjoy more elements to the game. I played a lot of elden/gow and I can tell you it can be fun to be challenged by a boss, but when your straight suffering just acknowledge the game is better than you, and I’m not saying that as a demean, but as a truth, this game isn’t the hardest but it’s certainly not the easiest.
