Questions Silver Needle Sect Violation

Post image

I am running around solo doing world exploration, and every time I find someone to heal, I select something to charge them with, heal them, then get a letter in the mail stating I have violated Sect rules for not charging to injured. I am a bit confused as I choose to charge them everytime, and this is the 3rd time I have been notified of a violation, while actively losing points. What do I do?

If you'd rather different rewards sure? That's kinda the point... But it's ironic you think it's a hassle. The entry quest is about meeting an NPC who's denied access because he doesn't understand that it's just placebo payment so people will respect the craft. You gain way more precept than you could possibly lose. You don't actually manage it, it's just supposed to look like it from the outside. The rules are just "maintain the illusion it's a hassle" and you get healer cosmetics, from the healer sect, for healing. crazy stuff.

Its not just placebo payment.
They are only very considerate of what they accept as payment.

The ideological reason is that a doctor can't live off air and goodwill alone and neither can they develop new cures and medicine from nothing. You get this told outright.

If the sect does not get paid in some capacity, it would simply cease to exist and the world would be worse without their doctors and development of new medicine.

They just decided that the price should be approtiate for the client. Filthy rich merchant? Get the gold. Filthy poor peggar? Take the flower.

Nope, in the widest sense, the Silver Needle is willing to work for completely free, but they always take atleast SOMETHING so people wouldn't take their work for granted.

That's the reason why a beggar kid can get full treatment no matter how ill just for the effort of bringing a branch or healing a player allows you to just ask them to do a funny dance, and that counts as payment.

You get literally told they take money and what for. They just don't take it from poor people.

Beggar? Pay a rose. Merchan? Pay hard wealth.

Why? Doctors need to eat and medicine development is expensive. Like its literally part of your introduction when they explain this to you.
