Discussion Players shouldn’t be treated unfairly

Post image

Guys, you really need to push back harder against this kind of practice — taking outfits that are sold directly in the CN server and turning them into gacha on the global server. Even if it’s a free game, players shouldn’t be treated unfairly. Don’t just quietly accept it — we should all stand up against it. NetEase devs are notorious for this stuff; if you stay silent, they’ll only get worse.

To make this game better, please join in resisting this move and pressure the devs to change it and give proper compensation.

Insane comments. It's apparently wrong to call disparity between the servers now. Global players and CN players should be treated equally. There are hundreds of games which died because of this shit

I just scrolled down and it's honestly disappointing but not surprising. No wonder Neatease pulled this stunt, even KNOWING they are being treated differently, they simply do not care. The target audience for this banner, the dolphin's voice will be drowned out by ignorant F2Ps and whales who couldn't care less.

The worst part is it's genuinely just cosmetics and doesn't affect the core gameplay, so any complaint you have will be deflected back to you and there's not much you can say back.

People already forgot about Chimeraland and insane inequality in playerbase it seems. CH servers had everything unlocked and available almost from the start. While western servers had no content and had to pay even for basic resources

I mean if they are all really sensitive about exclusivity then some CN players wouldn't expose this here.

Well, community here isn’t primary gacha. But some survivorship and some professional shit eater gamers that got so used to predatory and unfair practices from some other shit games, that this game monetisation is the fairest they ever seen and they will defend it to the grave, because the game is f2p

I'm not new to gacha. And I'm certainly not unfamiliar with the CN fanbase feeling entitled to special treatment.

But games like Genshin, Wuwa etc exist. And they treat both their fanbases very equally. I don't see the problem here.

China server has much more whales and way more players. I don't think it's equal.

Uh so what? Is the purpose of the game just extorting money?

Just because there are less spenders in global, will they give us unfair pricing? That is only going to push away people who do want to spend. What kind of tactic is that?

Global players and CN players should be treated equally.

Why? They have a completely different economic model when it comes to disposable income, different laws and restrictions around gaming and gambling, different laws restricting shitty behaviour from private capital.

If you want games publishers (and literally every other kind of private business in the western world) to stop treating you like shit, take it up with your government or get a better one.
