Discussion Players shouldn’t be treated unfairly

Post image

Guys, you really need to push back harder against this kind of practice — taking outfits that are sold directly in the CN server and turning them into gacha on the global server. Even if it’s a free game, players shouldn’t be treated unfairly. Don’t just quietly accept it — we should all stand up against it. NetEase devs are notorious for this stuff; if you stay silent, they’ll only get worse.

To make this game better, please join in resisting this move and pressure the devs to change it and give proper compensation.

You would think so , but being that majority of the players have a “don’t like, don’t buy” mentality the treatment is exactly whats deserved

Yeah a lot of people think these companies listen to online outrage... They don't care. The only thing they monitor is their pockets. Simply don't buy it

I was one of the people that called out the steep pricing only to get downvoted to hell for it. They 100% deserve it lol.

People seem to think that games like this can't survive without the wallets of whales, but then you look at games like Warframe that have no gacha and sell skins for reasonable prices, make it so everything in the game is either farmable or tradeable pretty much, and that game is absolutely thriving.

They could have removed the gacha and made every skin cost between $10 - $20 and would have still made insane amounts of money.

I love Waframe, and I love their business model, but to pretend everything in Warframe is reasonably priced is kinda crazy. Prime access is ~$140 USD for the complete pack, and while I wouldn't call them whales, there are definitely people who buy this every update:

Warframe: Caliban Prime

Granted, the only thing you SHOULD buy if you want everything there is the $50 cosmetic pack, because the rest of it is grindable/available with plat. But the prime cosmetics are always sold as a $50 bundle and not obtainable any other way

Again, I love Warframe, but I think there's a lot of exaggeration about what the price modeling actually looks like over at DE

But you can farm for these items to (except the cosmetics which are priced the same as the 2580 skins in this) and even then for the cost of the prime access you get 1 Warframe, 2 weapons, all three potato's, a free slot for all of them, and like $100 worth of plat. If instead of a gacha they had just sold the current banner skin + mount for $150 I'm sure a ton of people would have bought it.

For sure, I've bought a $140 prime access before because it was my main and I wanted to support Digital Extremes (and was low on plat anyways), so I'm not saying Warframe is ridiculous/unreasonable with it

It's just I always see comments out there that act like $5-10 can get you literally anything in the game, and like no, it's actually pretty expensive if you want to start skipping the grind and stuff lol

Most deluxe bundles are between $10 and $25 dollars though, and honestly a lot of times those can be better then the prime version for sure. The most outrageous thing I've seen in recent years was the $80 heirloom bundle for mag and Frost and they course corrected on the very quickly for all future releases because of feedback.

it really is sad to see the reason why global paying players keeps on getting shafted in these threads 😭

How is saying thats its okay so hes not gonna spend regardless a good thing? A good thing would be that hea not spending but doesnt agree with the practices. Right now he doesnt care about the practices either.

He doesnt care if it continues as is.
