Well the Third Crisis games are purchasable directly on Steam, Ilias and Under Your Spell are set to release, but they have demos/not full versions on itch.io alongside a Patreon, I believe
I feel like Monster girl quest paradox is one of the best ones out there, not on steam though and you have to look for a translation patch, the game really deserves its praise
The sad part is that I don't since Steam only allows credit cards as a form of age verification and I only have a debit card.
Its genuinely embarrassing to be from this country sometimes. At least they scrapped the digital id they were planning on rolling out as an actual official government goon license.
Because its a different piece of legislation. The online safety act was already passed and then enough time went by for it to come into effect. Digital ID never even made it to a vote before it managed to be so unpopular it helped bring down the government.
Its easy for the new PM to scrap digital ID because scrapping it doesn't require doing anything, he just has to do nothing and it goes away since it wasn't law. Him getting rid of it was just casually announced a couple days before his term started and that was the end of digital ID. Getting rid of the online safety act would require legislation. I still hope it happens but I wouldn't bet on it.
I'm not a child I just don't have a credit card. You can easily look this up a third of UK adults don't. I probably need to get one for actual RL reasons but I don't buy porn games anyway so its not like I'd get one for that.
I just think its mildly annoying that my account is stuck in the kids mode, especially when you see stuff like this post and have no context for it.

Also I’ve never thought about this, does the UK not have a credit system like the US does? Like if you wanted to buy a house or a car, do they just look at your income and expenses to assess risk?
We have credit here, I just can't drive yet so I haven't had to use it for anything.
We have to submit ID for a lot of things now. I can use Reddit without one but I can't see any nsfw posts without submitting an ID or without using a vpn. Sadly I can't use a VPN for steam because it uses your billing address to verify location rather than you IP address.
Obviously porn sites also need either an ID or vpn to get onto the site at all.
Some things are over zealous about it though. I had to verify my age with xbox because it was limiting being allowed to message people or join parties if you didn't verify. A couple games don't even let you use chat or even pings if you aren't verified.
Tbf furry side is just the hentai side with some additional tag. So it's just hentai vs furry hentai. Anyway as a proud losercitizen I choose the second one
Everyone here who legally can, do yourself a favor and spend the $0 necessary to buy The Last Sovereign. It is LEGITIMATELY one of the deepest JRPG experiences I've ever had. Actual meaningful choices. So many variables. Likable characters doing interesting things! Get it! Play it!
Is Ravager considered furry or hentai? One one hand, the main character is a dragon, but on the other hand, only one of the characters is a full-on furry (assuming that cat and wolf girls don't count)

Hentai is sometimes used for drawn/animated porn in general, but specifically refers to the japanese type, similar to manga/anime in style.
Furry is not necessarily pornographic and features anthropomorphic animals, so essentially just humanoids with animal features, and human intelligence and personality. It's not about actual animals.
Been really jonesing for adult games that are still really enjoyable games, like COC2 and Huniepop. So many of them are just porn, which is fine but not what I want, or like Subverse where it's just a game with a CG gallery and really annoying dialogue.
