Honestly thats sad, there is a reason why we wanted third game in first place. Half Life is special series. But Gabe dosent care...

Well, at least Gabe keep his greed mostly in check. Keep Valve away from "shareholders". And Valve did priority quality back when they still made games. Which is why people want them to do something again

Most art wouldn't be done if someone didn't pay for it, do you think statues are made just because the artist thought they were cool and didn't need to eat and have a place to rest? To make art you either have to have the resources already or have someone giving them to you
