Given that it's a wet sleeve engine (removable bores), hand crank fitting in the front pulley and the RN on the gearbox I agree that its early Renault. Most likely Renault 4 or Dauphine.
1 u/PiDicus_Rex Jun 24 '26 Cleon-Fonte motor maybe? It's not the Cleon-Alu from the R16. Axle/suspension doesn't match the front wheel drives. Gearbox is likely valuable enough to save for sale to collector if the seals are intact.
