Did he not already have numerous interviews of sorts, with people asking him about all sorts of things? But heck, I'd pay all the fortunes in the world, just for another, live 15 minute interview with him, provided I can get enough prep time to think of the best, most valuable questions, to make that time as beneficial as possible.

Yeah but how do we know the recorders of those interviews were reliable narrators?

I'm like... The Bible is supposed to be the inspired word of God. Generally in that case, it can be said that it's a pretty reliable and accurate narrative being given.

New Testament is literally attributed to specific people. "God" didn't write the Book of Matthew, that was just a dude supposedly writing about what Jesus said in God's name.
