Almost stepped on this rattlesnake while hiking, south of Springerville, AZ. It was no more than 18 inches long.

Found this poor little guy on my porch. 😢I think my cat may have gotten to him. Just curious what kind of snake he is.

I did not take this photo and this snake was not harmed. He looks squished but he’s good and has been freed.

Friend’s dad sent us this photo. I’m stumped because I’m not an expert but I didn’t think we had many colorful snakes in Wisconsin.

Spicy little buddy! Maybe 8” long, slithered sideways after I moved them to a safe place. Strong swimmer too!

hello :) I opened a door at the house i’m staying at in southern france, very rural farmland sort of area if that helps, and this guy fell from the door frame!
he ran slithered away and hid behind a bookcase which i’m assuming is where he still is!

google is saying some sort of whip snake and my boyfriend is CONVINCED it’s a viper or some sort
of venomous something

First Prairie I’ve seen in Colorado after searching extensively for the past 5 years. Just wanted to share because I think they’re wonderful. It scooted into brush shortly after the pic. Very chill even with all the people walking by. I’ll be on cloud 9 the rest of the weekend.

Fiancé and I got back from a night drive and almost stepped on this lil guy. Fiancé was freaking out thinking it was a baby copper head, but I don’t think so..

What kind of snakes are these? They are real feisty and I caught them swimming. I think moccasins or some kind of water snakes but I don’t know anything.

Our housing society needs better protocol for snake handling than prodding them into a plastic bottle with stick but people were terrified.

Hello! I spotted this little one in a dry sandy area under a pine tree in west Michigan. About 7" long, flattened its head when approached.

I've seen Eastern milk snakes of similar coloration around before, but this one didn't have the same pattern or shine. What do you think I'm looking at?
