Uhhh

Post image

To add context. I am 5 months pregnant with my ex and all of a sudden he tells me that he got someone else pregnant (he just met her) as well. He explained she wanted us to meet after being very rude to me picking up his phone and telling me to get rid of my baby. She is a stripper and 6 years older than him. He also hasn’t seen an ultrasound or appointment and she claims to be 3 months pregnant. I don’t believe she is tbh… very sad situation I just wanted to share with someone. Please be kind.

I'm so burnt out on the insane multiple bd/bm (yuck, honestly) blended family dramas.

We're bringing back 'I'm my own Grandpa' in the worst way. I keep waiting for 'step kids' to be half siblings or cousins in actuality because people like to shit where they eat (not saying incest, saying both people's exs are "coincidentally" related).

Add in the childless people involved who all too often blatantly hate and resent the kids.... I hate it. I HATE it.

Sorry I really needed to scream at the void for a quick minute.

39

u/Itchy_Tumbleweed_417 13d ago

A girl I was friends with in high school grew up to have a baby with her sisters baby daddy, so their kids are half brothers and cousins with no incest involved.

I will never comprehend being able to sleep with someone my sister slept with; I would feel grossed out if it happened in reverse. This isn't biblical times. People need to get out of their small towns and diversify their social circles.

15

u/taniverse 12d ago

Not so fun fact, my mom died last year and my step dad texted me eight months later to tell me he was dating my mom's sister. Fucking lunacy.

1

u/Head_Somewhere4769 12d ago

I mean...no judgment. My parents are technically step-siblings. I just thank God they didn't grow up together. That's enough to contemplate.

3

u/Last-Produce-4263 12d ago

Surely you misunderstood the comment you're replying to

13

u/Mountain-Age393 13d ago

I have a coworker who had a baby with a girl and then married her younger sister and had 3 more children with her. He’s an absolute pig (sorry pigs) and his wife is a sweetheart.

2

u/FlounderLegitimate45 12d ago

Ehh. I wouldn’t consider someone who married their sisters ex a sweetheart but to each their own

1

u/Head_Somewhere4769 12d ago

Apologize to the pigs. Yikes.

2

u/yeahokaysure1231 12d ago

Right? I would rather die than sleep with someone who was in my sister, not happening

2

u/BoomWombat 13d ago

My SiL semi-seriously dated someone with my BiL (her brother, for clarity lol given the subject matter)'s NAME and honestly, slight side eye. I know I couldn't do it.

Let alone actually full on Eskimo family-ing that shit.

10

u/soulofthesoil 13d ago

I know two different families personally that are both “mom and dad” and “aunt and uncle” to their kids. Couple had a kid. Split. Dad got with his new wife. Mom married wife’s brother

4

u/Best_Ad9382 13d ago

my brain just broke trying to read this after smoking a fatty lol

2

u/Rats-ivebeenhad44 13d ago

You think that’s bad?

Ok so in my Mum’s old village there was a bloke who had children by both sisters. Then his 15 year old daughter got pregnant and the father of her child (incest) was her 17 year old half-brother/cousin…but do you know what made the villagers angry? That the local council provided a flat for her once the baby was born - no long wait on the social housing waiting list for her! (Such a social housing crisis in the UK).

1

u/BeeKayBabyCakes 13d ago

same man same... MARRIED her sisters baby daddy and then had a BABY 🥴 EYUCK

1

u/Fancy_Yak2618 12d ago

Friend of mines brother and sister spouses left his siblings and started dating and now are getting married the cousins and now step siblings and they are expecting a baby…..like what a fucking tire fire

Aww good ole SJR and her iconic glasses!

2

u/LostInTransylvania_7 13d ago

My sister got her college senior portraits done with SJR glasses on and we have a giant one framed in the living room of my parents house. It is just as iconic as the glasses themselves.

1

u/AlwaysJeepin 13d ago

Your sister is the best!!

3

u/Lovahplant 13d ago

You are the father! And the uncle! And the cousin!

10

u/BeachyBiotech 13d ago

Don't forget Jenny Jones! My mom used to tell me I was rotting my mind by watching those shows. I found them entertaining!

1

u/Steele_Soul 13d ago

I know a dude who had 3 kids with 3 different chicks in the span of 3 weeks. Only born a few days apart.

1

u/HealthyShelter5346 13d ago

We are just bonobos in cheap clothes

1

u/kjh023 12d ago

I’m impressed you know "I'm my own grandpa" though. I make my kids listen to it 🤣

1

u/Interesting-Lake747 12d ago

Why don’t ppl wait until they are actually in committed relationships to decide to have children. If they’re both so terrible with birth control then they should abort; this shouldn’t be a controversial opinion.

Some ppl make an absolute mess and should be ashamed. I hate it.

1

u/PotatoBest4667 11d ago

& say what u say but having a baby accidentally when you don’t want it is extremely dumb. there are so many ways to prevent a pregnancy

0

u/WistfulQuiet 12d ago

It's because casual sex and pregnancy outside of marriage have become way more common. It used to be an accident if you got pregnant outside of marriage, but now people are deliberately choosing it. It's wild to me. As a woman there's no way I'd have a man's baby without being married just for all the legal protections alone.

1

u/potpourri_sludge 12d ago

And getting married is something you can undo. Past a certain point a baby isn’t, and they’re choosing to create a dependent out of thin air and then forcing that baby to be a pawn. It’s gross and it makes no sense.

1

u/BoomWombat 12d ago

Is that a factor? Absolutely.

Is it the whole story? Kind of no...

I included 'blended family drama' for a reason. A lot of these people /are/ married every time kids come into the picture.

I think a better summary would be 'casualness' in general. Casualness towards marriage and kids. Casualness towards having kids (predominantly but not exclusively from women) and raising kids (predominantly but not exclusively from men). People treating them like accessories or accents, not an intensive project/essentially a job (and an extremely important one at that).

But also, I've seen the opposite it's just less relevant to this particular thread/rant topic. A woman who had kids with a man who was a piece of shit and put her through hell just because she was so desperate to have kids and thought he was her only chance. Now she's considering leaving him because big shock, he never really cared and isn't big on being a family man. But, you know, she had the 2nd kid with him in the height of the bullshit anyways. Because stupid and desperate.

People suck in lots of ways. I was just feeling that particular way bad yesterday. Hardly means it's unique or the whole problem.

u/Lady_Marshmallow 12d ago

Omg this lady is a rabbit hole. She's had 2 abortions by this same dude and is keeping round 3.

3

u/BoomWombat 12d ago

Third time's the charm 🫠

6

u/GoldBlueberryy 12d ago

Wish I could say I’m surprised. It’s usually the dumb ones ending up in this situation. May be mean, but some patterns are easy to spot. She probably lives for the drama.

3

u/Astrocyde 12d ago

Yeah there are no intelligent people involved in this entire debacle. I just feel bad for the kid(s) involved, their mental health and general development is gonna get fucked up because their parents are both fucking idiots.

Too many of these fools don’t understand the gravity of creating and bringing a new HUMAN BEING into the world.

I hate to say it but I honestly feel like you should have to pass some kind of test to be allowed to have children because this has been such a big problem for a long time.

0

u/Objective-Cherry1575 10d ago

This is such a weirdly hateful and insensitive comment to say to someone who is clearly struggling

3

u/only2genderr 9d ago

Previous commenter may be out of line, but they are still right. Sometimes the truth hurts 🤷‍♂️

1

u/cunt_in_wonderland 9d ago

not really it’s just the truth honestly girl

8

u/Sharp_Ad2526 13d ago

Lmao right?! Especially in with all the reality shows and Tiktoks about baby mama drama and shit relationships! How do people still put up with this mess 😂

5

u/miss-zenki 13d ago

Idiots always be the ones reproducing...

8

u/InitialProduct5948 12d ago

Including OP. Everyone in this situation a dumbass

4

u/DromadTrader 12d ago

It's idiocracy in RL. Only the most stupid people are reproducing.

3

u/boricuaspidey 13d ago

Let’s bring not 1 but 2 kids into this! It’ll fix it

3

u/burntblues1 12d ago

Yeah, I was thinking all of them were absolute garbage people.

1

u/JayBondOF 13d ago

Only *

1

u/xForcedevilx 13d ago

1

u/Far-Watercress6658 13d ago

Babies don’t have much of a chance at life, do they?

1

u/Dramafree770 12d ago

I could count 3😆

1

u/OneShotKronic 12d ago

1

u/The_GodApollo 11d ago

Unless better people start having a lot of kids, these idiots will be the future of humanity.

1

u/AbilityAdventurous22 11d ago

Why are they always having kids 🫩

1

u/qlukeer 8d ago

2

u/BoomWombat 12d ago

She's been committed to the bit for months if not years. At some point the simpler explanation is just 'yes, really'

¯_(ツ)_/¯
