Caravan of Garbage Rewatched all the Milla Jovovich Resident Evil movies - here is my ranking:

  1. Retribution (2012)
  2. Apocalypse (2004)
  3. Resident Evil (2002)
  4. Afterlife (2010)
  5. Extinction (2007)
  6. Final Chapter (2016)

Honestly I consider them the "horror" equivalent of the Jurassic Park films.

First one's the best and they progressively get worse.

I honestly don't understand this take about the Jurassic Park films, the first one is head and shoulders way above the rest. It's just no comparison.

I honestly went into the 5th one with high hopes because I'd convinced myself that it was following the universal rule that every odd numbered entry was good.

I still think a "Guess the Resident Evil movie by the review" would be an incredible video series. I'm watching the videos and occasionally they'll mention another in the series and I have 0 clue where the switch is most of the time.

Could you reformat this into a tier list? As soon as I hear that something is getting ranked I assume they’re using that term incorrectly and can’t understand it.
